The engine meets strict emission standards and is designed to use ULSD (ultra-low sulfur diesel fuel with 15 ppm of sulfur or less) or ULSD blended with lower-carbon intensity fuels up to 20% biodiesel FAME, 100% renewable diesel, HVO, and GTL fuels. Auto Idle, Engine Idle Shutdown Timer, Cruise Control, and the Cat Seat Belt Reminder system are all designed to reduce fuel burn, greenhouse gas emissions, and unnecessary idle time. Extended maintenance intervals further decrease downtime and fluid and filter replacement over the life of the machine.
